Risk and Trading Disclosure
Draft version · not yet effective
Read this before enabling live trading on Auto-Trade. It describes the risks of automated crypto and derivatives trading and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
1. Not investment advice
Auto-Trade is a trade-execution tool, not an investment adviser. Nothing in the Service — strategy descriptions, performance history, notifications, or any other content — is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to enable live trading and how much capital to allocate.
2. You can lose money, including all of it
Cryptocurrency and derivatives markets are highly volatile. Automated strategies can lose money in fast or illiquid markets, during exchange outages, or when conditions differ from those under which a strategy was designed or tested. Your capital cap limits position sizing, not your risk of loss — it is possible to lose the full amount allocated to a strategy.
3. No guaranteed returns
Past performance shown in your dashboard, including forward-test and backtest results, is historical and does not guarantee future results. Market conditions change, and a strategy that performed well historically can underperform or lose money going forward.
4. Guards reduce risk, they don't eliminate it
Features like the kill switch, daily-loss guard, and auto square-off are designed to limit downside, but they depend on market data, connectivity, and exchange/broker responsiveness — all of which can fail or lag during extreme conditions (flash crashes, exchange downtime, network issues). No guard can guarantee a maximum loss.
5. Third-party and technical risk
The Service depends on third parties outside our control: your exchange or broker, market data providers, and network infrastructure. Outages, API changes, order-rejection, or slippage at any of these can affect trading outcomes. Fishak Labs is not liable for losses caused by these third-party failures, as further described in our Terms of Service.
6. Your responsibility
Only allocate capital you can afford to lose. Review your strategy's configuration, capital cap, and guards before enabling live trading, and monitor your account regularly.
